Club racing is held every Sunday between October and April. There are normally 2 x races starting at 1pm and 3pm. Races are the responsibility of the volunteer Duty Officer of the day who operate on a rotation basis between members.

There are two point score series. Spring point score operates from October to December. The Summer point score operates between January to April. The Commodores Cup is presented to the sailor that has the highest combined scores across the Spring and Summer point score series.

All are welcome as different boats are handicapped according to the boats individual Yard stick and the sailors ability. Multi hull catamarans and single hulls dinghies such as Lasers are popular boats in the fleet.

Fitzroy Dam is a freshwater catchment dam and therefore no swimming is allowed. Please refer to our Code of Practice for more details. Canoeing/Kayaking/Rowing is also popular.
